Best of the Beat Award-winning rapper Alfred Banks will celebrate the ten years he’s been making and performing hip-hop with a special concert performance in New Orleans on June 21.

“From small hole-in-the-wall venues to festival stages all across the world, the past ten years have been an incredible ride,” says Banks. “Experiencing riding up the highways of America, filming car commercials, performing in empty venues, working with bad promoters, and everything in between…a young kid from Uptown New Orleans had a dream and he worked to make it a reality.”

In acknowledgment of the work he’s put in over the last decade, Banks will perform a one-off anniversary show on the porch at Howlin’ Wolf. There, he’ll take listeners on a journey through his catalog. Joining him will be special guests throughout the night, plus supporting performances from Pro$per Jones, Marcel P. Black and M Shah.

Tickets for Alfred Banks’ 10th Anniversary Concert are available for $10 pre-sale here. At the door, they’ll be $15. The show is 18+ and doors open at 7 p.m.
