The Arts Cares: Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra to Play Flood Relief Concert

The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra and New Orleans Opera Association will present The Arts Care, a benefit concert for educational institutions, arts organizations, and social service organizations in Louisiana’s flood-affected communities.

Scheduled for Thursday, September 8 at the Mahalia Jackson Theater in New Orleans, the concert will feature a wide range of Broadway, opera and orchestral classics from composers like Giuseppe Verdi, Leonard Bernstein, Johannes Brahms, George Gershwin, Anton Dvorak, Claude-Michel Schönberg, Georges Bizet and many more.

100% of the proceeds from the show will be administrated by the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge’s Creative Relief Fund.
