Mark It, Dude: Lebowski Fest New Orleans Rolls November 8 – 9

Dust off your bathrobe, grab your bowling ball and get ready to sip some White Russians and throw some rocks, man! Next weekend (November 8-9) the Big Lebowski meets the Big Easy for the first-ever Lebowski Fest New Orleans. The two-night celebration of His Dudeness or Duder or El Duderino (if you’re not into the whole brevity thing) gets underway on Friday, November 8 at the Howlin’ Wolf with music from Catfish Orchestra and the Dudes Abide as well as a screening of the 1998 Cohen Brothers cult classic starring Jeff Bridges as the Dude. The following night, hitch a ride to AMF All Star Lanes in Kenner dressed down in your best Lebowski get-up for a night bowling, trivia, costume contests and other what-have-you.

The first ever Lebowski Fest New Orleans takes place on November 8 - 9, 2013.

Tickets for movie night at the Howlin’ Wolf on November 8 are $15 in advance or $18 at the door. The show starts at 8:00 p.m. Attendees must be 18 years of age or older. The Howlin’ Wolf is located at 907 South Peters Street.

Tickets to the bowling party at AMF All Star Lanes on November 9 are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. The event is open to the public and begins at 8:00 p.m. AMF All Star Lanes is located at 3640 Williams Boulevard in Kenner.
