Red Bull Circle of Balance: ‘Bike Breakdancing’ competition makes US debut in NOLA

Returning for the first time in 10 years and being held in the US for the first time, Red Bull Circle of Balance will arrive in New Orleans at Mardi Gras World on Saturday, December 17. Two-time NORA Cup winner (Number One Rider Award) and Louisiana native Terry Adams will have a home-stage advantage as he hosts 15 of his peers from as far away as Japan and Brazil in New Orleans.

It’s a “bike breakdancing” competition featuring over a dozen world-class flatland BMX riders who battle in a judging format developed specifically for the event. In its 20-year history, the competition has only happened five times and has only been outside the US in places like Munich, Tokyo and Austria. It will attract people worldwide to the city whose best-known bike event involves naked people.

Red Bull Circle of Balance will be December 17 at 7 p.m. and Tickets are now available for $15. For more information and to learn how to watch the event online, visit this link.
