Brooklyn Indie Pop Band Daisy the Great to Perform in New Orleans with Olive Klug and LeTrainiump on May 5

Daisy the Great, the indie pop band from Brooklyn, will perform at Gasa Gasa (4920 Freret Street), New Orleans, on Friday, May 5, along with folk singer Olive Klug and R&B artist LeTrainiump from Louisiana.

The band, which comprises Kelly Nicole Dugan and New Orleans native Mina Walker, is most well-known for their hit single “Record Player,” which they recorded with the electro-pop group AJR. Their latest album, a 15-track deluxe LP called All You Need is Time, was released in October of last year to great acclaim.

Olive Klug, a folk singer-songwriter from Portland, currently based in Los Angeles, has amassed 400,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and completed two highly successful semi-national tours. Although they have yet to release a full-length LP, they recently released a four-track EP called Casting Spells in April and plan to release more music this year.

LeTrainiump, the R&B artist from Louisiana, has collaborated with some of the most well-known artists in the New Orleans area, including Tank and the Bangas, Pell, and Alfred Banks, and has shared stages with Big Freedia, PJ Morton, and Ivan Neville

Tickets for the Daisy the Great show are available on Ticketweb for $18, with doors opening at 8 p.m. and music starting at 9 p.m.
