This year marks the 29th consecutive season of City Church’s Christmas musical productions.

City Church is hosting a series of Broadway-style musical dinners on December 12, 13, and 14 at 7 p.m. each night to celebrate the premiere of the New Orleans East church’s all new production, This Christmas, which includes a cast of 100 singers, dancers, and actors, and a live jazz ensemble.

The musical follows a young businessman named Bill and his companion Bartholomew as they journey through the ages to find the true meaning of Christmas.

Based on Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, Bill encounters medieval revelers, fervent believers, and everything in between as he travels through 2,000 years of Christmases.

The night will also include a three course dinner including dessert.
