Comedian Mike Epps arrested after allegedly attacking man at Harrah’s in New Orleans

Comedian and actor Mike Epps, and another man, were arrested after they allegedly attacked a tourist at Harrah’s Casino in New Orleans on Saturday morning.

According to The New Orleans Advocate, Epps and Thomas Cobb were both booked on municipal counts of battery after they were “involved in a physical altercation” in which they “struck” a Virginia man who was in town for the NBA All-Star Game. The attack reportedly happened around 4am.

Court records reportedly show that neither Epps nor Cobb appeared for their arraignment in Municipal Court on Tuesday, despite being released on $1,000 bail. As a result, attachments have been issued for their arrest.

Epps is known for his roles in “Next Friday” and “The Hangover,” as well as a stand-up comedy career that began with a stint on the Def Comedy Jam tour.
