Rising metal act Deafheaven will take the stage at Republic when they swing through New Orleans on Sunday, March 5. The San Francisco-based band will be joined by supporting acts This Will Destroy You and Emma Ruth Rundle during the show.

Deafheaven have built up a dedicated fanbase with sprawling songs that blend the energy and intensity of metal music with the patience and grandiosity of post-rock. Their last album, 2015’s New Bermuda, received widespread critical acclaim, and the group has maintained a consistent touring schedule since its release.
