Elton John’s Epic Farewell Tour Is Coming To Town

Elton John today announced the details of what he says will be his final tour. The three-year-long epic will bring the international icon around the globe and it all kicks off in the United States this fall. The Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour will bring him to New Orleans before year’s end, and pre-sale tickets will become available this week.

In all, his farewell tour will consist of over 300 performances across five continents before reaching its terminal date in 2021. “Performing live fuels me and I’m ecstatic and humbled to continue to play to audiences across the globe,” said Elton. “I plan to bring the passion and creativity that has entertained my fans for decades to my final tour. After the tour finishes, I’m very much looking forward to closing off that chapter of my life by saying farewell to life on the road. I need to dedicate more time to raising my children.”
