Ever More Nest and Gal Holiday at the Saturn Bar

On Saturday, February 17, alt-country band Ever More Nest and honky-tonk favorites Gal Holiday & The Honky Tonk Revue are set to take the stage at the Saturn Bar.

Ever More Nest, rooted in the musical traditions of the Mississippi River Delta, will kick off the night with their emotive blend of Southern-inspired alt-country tunes. Known for their dynamic performances and heartfelt lyrics, Ever More Nest’s music captures the essence of the South, weaving tales of love and loss through haunting melodies and lush harmonies.

Following Ever More Nest, Gal Holiday & The Honky Tonk Revue will take the stage, treating the audience to their signature blend of classic country twang and infectious energy. Led by Vanessa Niemann, also known as “The Gal,” the band’s vibrant stage presence and authentic sound have earned them a dedicated following in New Orleans and beyond.

Gal Holiday & The Honky Tonk Revue, often dubbed as “The Punk Rock Patsy Cline,” have been a mainstay in the New Orleans music scene since their formation in 2004. With their rollicking foot-stompers and poignant songwriting, the band brings a unique flair to the city’s diverse musical landscape.

Both bands have received critical acclaim for their albums and performances, with Ever More Nest’s latest release, “Out Here Now,” reaching the top of the Roots Music Radio Contemporary Folk Songs Chart. Gal Holiday & The Honky Tonk Revue have shared the stage with music legends like Willie Nelson and the Blind Boys of Alabama, solidifying their status as local favorites.
