Female Filmmaker Festival Celebrates International Women’s Day

Female Filmmaker Festival presented by Art Klub and Women in Film & Television Louisiana is a party to celebrate fabulous local ladies in their artistic pursuits, particularly in cinema. The night will feature screenings from over 16 different female filmmakers followed by Q & As. The Festival takes place on March 8, 2019 at Art Klub.

The festival will bring together ladies looking to celebrate International Women’s Day in a fun and inspiring way. Showings will include short narratives, documentaries, and experimental films, as well as music videos, an episode of a new web series and even some excerpts of feature films all created and directed by talented ladies in the New Orleans community.

Art Klub has worked hard to build connections within communities and continues to foster their relationship with Women in Television and Film. Both groups will hold a strong presence at the Female Filmmaker Festival. The event is curated by Meryl Murman.
