Fiya Fest Announces Fiya Lineup

Fiya Fest will bring another stacked lineup to Mardi Gras World in New Orleans on Wednesday, April 27. Unlike past years, the event will not take place on one of the days that Jazz Fest is in operation, making it easier for fans of funk, jazz, soul and R&B to attend.

PrintThis year’s fest will feature headlining sets from Soulive with Maceo Parker and The Shady Horns, Robert Randolph & The Family Band, and the Funky Meters.

As usual, there will be a number of superjam sets at Fiya Fest. A wide array of musicians will take the stage in one-off configurations with names like FunkiFIYA, Revivalactic Hall and Bernard Purdie & Friends. Take a look at the lineups for the various superjams below.

Also performing at Fiya Fest will be The Soul Rebels, Dr. Klaw with Cyril Neville, The Nth Power, Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band, Naughty Professor, The Heard, Mike Dillon’s Percussion Consortium with the St. Augustine Drum Section, DJ Logic, and Quickie Mart.

Of course, there will plenty be of crawfish to go around as well, and the event will once again be a fundraiser for the New Orleans Musicians Clinic, a non-profit that offers affordable healthcare options to local musicians.

Tickets for Fiya Fest are now available.
