Bonerama is among the acts at Gates Fest.

GatesFest features all-day lineup of local acts, art, and food

Congregation Gates of Prayer, a synagogue in Metairie, will present GatesFest, a full-day lineup of New Orleans music acts, art, and food with COVID safety in mind on what would have been the first Sunday of Jazz Fest on April 25. Limited tickets remain for a range of 70 pods that accommodate between three and six individuals, ranging in price from $2,500 to $360.

The lineup of acts on two stages is as follows:

2:25pm – Panorama Jazz Band
4:40pm – Alexis & The Samurai

The Cathy and Morris Bart Main Stage
10:00am – Opening Prayer by Rabbi David Gerber
10:05am – National Anthem by Jeremy Dvorin
11:15am – Preservation Brass
1:20pm – George Porter Jr. & The Porter Trio
3:25pm – Bonerama
5:45pm – Rebirth Brass Band

All attendees will be temperature-checked and questioned for symptoms per the CDC’s recommendation. Masks covering the face and nose will be required for all who are present. A face shield will not be an acceptable substitute for a mask.All attendees must remain in their designated pod. There will be no co-mingling permitted among attendees of different pods. Pods measuring 7 x 7 feet can accommodate six guests and pods measuring 7 x 3 feet can accommodate three guests. Food and beverage service will be delivered to the pods by professional and volunteer wait staff.
