OffBeat is currently seeking volunteers to distribute our Jazz Fest issue at the gates outside the festival.

All volunteers who work two 5-hour shifts (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.) will be given a ticket for another day of the festival. Volunteers are also welcome to work four shifts for two tickets.

OffBeat is a local, historic music magazine that is free to pick up in public locations around New Orleans. We’re a small staff with tons of music and culture to cover, and Jazz Fest is a crucial time for distribution. We really appreciate the help we get at the festival from other New Orleans music-lovers!

The work is rain or shine. It entails being on your feet for the day and giving away as many magazines as possible.

Shifts are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. the first six days of the festival (Fri 4/24–Sun 4/26 and Thurs 4/30–Sat 5/2) and are assigned on a first come/first served basis.
