Guinness Spotlights Iconic Treme Brass Band in New Film

Guinness is spotlighting New Orleans in the newest chapter of the brand’s “A Lovely Day” campaign asthe next film focuses on one of the city’s most soulful groups: the Tremé Brass Band.

Named after the historic Tremé neighborhood, the band blends traditional brass sounds with the deep soul of jazz. Fresh off their performance at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival last week, this latest film captures the Treme Brass Band in their element – raising a pint of Guinness and bringing people together with their unmistakable sound.

Guinness is a stout that originated in the brewery of Arthur Guinness at St. James’s Gate, Dublin, Ireland, in the 18th Century. It is now owned by the British-based multinational alcoholic beverage maker Diageo. It is one of the most successful alcohol brands worldwide, brewed in almost 50 countries, and available in over 120. It is the highest-selling beer in both Ireland and the United Kingdom. The Guinness Storehouse is a tourist attraction at St. James’s Gate Brewery in Dublin, Ireland. Since opening in 2000, it has received over 20 million visitors.

The “Lovely Day” campaign was officially launched last month and is an ongoing celebration of communities across the U.S., highlighting real stories of people coming together over shared passions and pints. With over 5,057 miles traveled and 50 communities captured, Guinness representatives say they are just getting started. Watch the film below.
