Guitar Center announced today that it is not only re-opening its Harahan location (1000 S. Clearview Pkwy) this weekend, but will open its doors with a drastically expanded roster of in-house services and equipment, including complete instrument rental, recording and rehearsal studio facilities. Previously, this location offered typical Guitar Center resources such as instrument and gear sales and repair, but now features a state-of-the-art studio space capable of nearly all aspects of making music professionally. They will even offer music lesson space in the re-modeled store.
Guitar Center New Orleans Re-Opens September 12
Clearly, Guitar Center is hip to the droves of musicians posting up in the Crescent City and they are poised to meet the professional demands of such an influx, boasting that they are proud to now offer “several brand new in-house additions to help New Orleans make even more music than ever before.” In fact, the Harahan store is now one of only two Guitar Centers in the country to house this level of resources in-house, dubbed Guitar Center Studios. Though the store is located outside of the core city, it certainly sounds like this music mega-store will be worth the 15-20 minute drive to Harahan.
To celebrate the store’s studio completion, Guitar Center New Orleans is hosting a Grand Re-Opening today (Thursday, September 12) to introduce the new upgrades to the music community.
