Hogs For The Cause Announces 2024 Music Lineup

Hogs for the Cause 2024Hogs for the Cause has announced its music lineup for the 16th annual fundraising event on April 5 – 6, 2024. The headliners for the 2024 event at the UNO Lakefront Arena festival grounds include Seattle-born indie rock band Band of Horses, fresh off the heels of their resurgent album Things are Great, and Shane Smith & the Saints, an American roots band influenced by country, folk, and roadhouse rock & roll with their newest album, Norther, dropping March 1, 2024. Other notable bands include The Record Company and Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country.

Nearly two dozen artists will appear at this year’s festival, playing alongside more than 95 barbecue teams serving mouth-watering BBQ and vying for the title of Grand Champion. Two-day tickets are now available online at HogsFest.org. If available, single-day tickets will go on sale closer to the event.

Hogs for the Cause is a 501c(3) organization that unites the barbecue community to support families while their children battle severe illness. To date, Hogs has distributed over $11 million in giving, including over 1,800 in direct grants to families fighting pediatric brain cancer and millions to hospital programs to renovate and expand their pediatric cancer units. By working with children’s hospitals to build “Hogs Houses,” Hogs offers a home away from home where families can stay while their children receive extended care. Year-round efforts across the country culminate in an annual two-day music festival and barbecue competition, combining more than 20 contemporary bands with over 95 competing barbecue teams.
