Holiday concert series returns this season

As part of Holidays New Orleans Style, a free holiday concert series will return to the St. Louis Cathedral and St. Anna’s Episcopal Church to continue the tradition this season. Split between two historic locations, the St. Louis Cathedral in Jackson Square and the St. Anna’s Episcopal Church will celebrate the holidays.

Lawrence Cotton, Da Lovebirds featuring Robin Barnes, Rachel Van Voorhees, Shades of Praise, John Boutté, André Bohren with the Electric Yat Quartet, Rickie Monie, Cameron Dupuy and the Cajun Troubadors and La Noche Buena will perform at St. Louis Cathedral this year at 6 p.m. on December 1, 5, 6, 7, 8, 13, 14 and 15. The final night will be the Christmas choir performing Noel, The Story of Christmas at 5:30 p.m. on December 18.

St. Anna’s Episcopal Church will highlight New Orleans musicians take place at 4 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 10 and 17. The featured artists will be The Friendly Travelers, Papo Y Son Mandao and Joy Clark.
