On Friday, April 20, the highest of high holidays, the Joy Theater will host what is arguably shaping up to be the greatest hip-hop event of 2018 thus far. In celebration of 4/20, Dr. Dre’s seminal 1992 LP The Chronic will be given the New Orleans treatment when Juvenile and Partners-N-Crime put on a live rendition with Smokers World.

“The Chronic LIVE” will act as the first of Joy Theater’s new Legendary Albums LIVE series which will recreate iconic albums with diverse local lineups and special guests. “I’m super excited to be involved in something of this magnitude with some great musicians! I can’t wait to party with everyone on 4/20,” says Kango Slim, one-half of special guest Partners-N-Crime.
