Legendary jazz pianist Kenny Barron will perform at the Contemporary Arts Center on Saturday, March 22 as part of his 70th anniversary celebration.
A veteran of Dizzy Gillespie’s band, Barron’s improvisational style has influenced countless aspiring jazz musicians during his more than five decades of recordings and live performances.
Barron has released more than 40 albums, including his 2013 release “Kenny Barron & The Brazilian Knights,” released on Sunnyside Records. Barron will take the stage at the CAC’s Freeport-McMoRan Theater at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $35 for general admission, $30 for season subscribers, and $25 for CAC members and can be purchased at the CAC box office.
