The group, which features Pat Casey, Alexey Marti, Michael Watson and others, will bring its blend of New Orleans jazz and Afro-Cuban rhythms to the Ace Hotel’s music venue on Thursday, November 24. The post-dinner show will be free for fans who RSVP in advance, though seating will be first-come, first-serve.

Best known as an original member of Herbie Hancock’s famed Headhunters band, Summers has been a fixture on the New Orleans scene for years. He also gained notoriety as a founding member—along with Irvin Mayfield and Jason Marsali—of Los Hombres Calientes, and has worked with jazz luminaries like Sonny Rollins, McCoy Tyner, Tony Williams, Patrice Rushen and Ron Carter, just t name a few. (We spoke with Summers ahead of his 2013 French Quarter Fest performance).

Summers and Todo Mezcla–which loosely translates to “a bit of everything mixed together”–will take the stage at Three Keys at 8pm.
