Lil Wayne: Making Up for Lost Time?

Evidently rapper Lil Wayne left the pantry well-stocked before he went to prison. In a recent interview with MTV News, Young Money’s Mack Maine revealed plans for two new Lil Wayne albums, one due out in September and one in November to coincide with his release from prison. According to MTV’s report:

Tha Carter IV plans we had and still have are to put Tha Carter IV out the day he comes out [of prison],” Mack said Thursday in New York. “He had so many songs for Tha Carter IV, we said let’s just put these 10 songs out [on I Am Not a Human Being] and double-back for Tha Carter IV. He has more songs for Tha Carter IV that are still strong.”

In the meantime, his recent collaboration with Drake, “Right Above It,” debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the week of September 4. Also, the outpouring of love for Lil Wayne continues in the Comments section of WeezyThanxYou.com., where Lil Wayne occasionally writes his fans from prison in New York.
