Local Musicians to Play Benefit Show at NOLA Brewing

Honey Island Swamp Band, Darcy Malone & The Tangle, Motel Radio and Amanda Ducorbier will perform at the second annual Notes for Hope. The event will take place at the NOLA Brewing Tap Room from 3pm to 10pm on Saturday, June 25.

Notes for Hope is a fundraiser for the Brett Thomas Doussan Foundation, a local organization that works to raise awareness about mental health issues through advocacy, education and music. The proceeds from this particular gathering will go toward the foundation’s Music for the Mind Campaign, which has partnered with clothing company Happy Soul Apparel to create an inspirational t-shirt that fosters mental health awareness.

In addition to plenty of music, Notes for Hope will also feature a vendors marketplace that showcases a variety of local artists and craftsmen. Of course, there will be a substantial amount of beer from the NOLA Brewing Tap Room on hand as well.

Tickets for the event are now on sale here.
