Neil Diamond Announces First New Orleans Concert Since 2002

Neil Diamond will bring his 50 Year Anniversary World Tour to New Orleans on Tuesday, May 2 when he headlines the Smoothie King Center. It will mark his first show in the Crescent City since September 5, 2002 (another concert was scheduled for October of 2005, but Hurricane Katrina had other plans).

A veritable pop icon, Diamond has sold over 120 million records with hits like “Sweet Caroline,” “Cracklin’ Rosie,” “Song Sung Blue,” “You Don’t Bring Me Flowers,” and “America.” As a member of the Rock and Roll and Songwriters Halls of Fame, Diamond has earned accolades for his career as a performer, as well as his work behind the scenes.

Tickets for Diamond’s New Orleans concert will go on sale to the general public on Friday, December 9. However, American Express Cardholders will be able to purchase them between Monday, December 5 and Thursday, December 8.
