We Belong Here, the community-driven music and culture experience known for its immersive, design-forward festivals, is expanding to New Orleans for the first time. The three-day event will take place Nov. 13–15, 2026 at Woldenberg Riverfront Park, marking the brand’s debut in one of the most iconic music cities in the world.
Woldenberg Riverfront Park will offer a striking backdrop for the festival’s signature open-air experience. While New Orleans has long been one of the world’s great music cities, large-scale dance music experiences have been notably absent in recent years, creating an opportunity for a new kind of festival to emerge on the riverfront.
“New Orleans is not only a musical epicenter, it’s a true cultural melting pot and a highly requested city from our community, all of which makes it a perfect home for a new We Belong Here experience,” said Justin Dauman, Co-Founder of We Belong Here. “Its heritage as the birthplace of Jazz is interconnected with playing a massive role in popularizing house and rave culture in the South. We’re excited to create a new experience that bridges local and global dance music culture together to reconnect with that legacy.
Since its founding in Miami in 2021, We Belong Here has brought boutique festival experiences to different unique locations throughout New York and Florida. More than a lineup-driven event, We Belong Here has built its reputation around the overall experience, combining music, setting, design, and community into weekends that audiences return to year after year.
The New Orleans edition marks the next chapter in We Belong Here’s intentional growth. It will feature multiple stages with a curated mix of globally touring artists and local talent, alongside thoughtfully designed social spaces, art installations, and elevated food and beverage offerings. The festival will also incorporate local food vendors, artists, and cultural partners, continuing We Belong Here’s approach of building experiences that reflect the identity of each city it enters.
As part of its expansion into New Orleans, We Belong Here also plans to partner with local community and environmental organizations around initiatives tied to music education and riverfront stewardship, continuing efforts the brand has implemented in other markets with partners like Scratch Academy, The University of Miami’s Frost School of Music, Blue Urban Project, Acts Conservatory for Teens and more.
