New Orleans photographer Marie-Dominique Verdier will sign her book of photography “New Orleans Walls: Still Standing” at a special event at the Bevolo Gaslight Museum on March 27. 

Featuring over 80 New Orleans natives and transplants, including Drew Brees, Fats Domino, Irma Thomas, Theresa Andersson, Angela Hill, Anders Osborne, Harry Connick, John Boutté, Ellis Marsalis, Donald Harrison, Jr., and Charmaine Neville, Verdier’s book is a who’s who of local celebrities.

The collection of double-exposed photographs and stories were taken and collected over a 16 year period, and are intended to stand as a tribute to the city that binds together so many people from all walks of life.

There will be a book signing event at the Bevolo Gaslight Museum from 4 pm to 7 pm on Thursday, March 27. Over 30 of the people who posed for the book are expected to attend. For more information, go to www.neworleanswalls.com.
