NOLA Funk Fest Unveils Spectacular Lineup at Tipitina’s Concert

NOLA Funk Fest is back, and it’s bringing the funk to Tipitina’s in an epic lineup reveal concert on Saturday, March 23.

Headlining the night are two Grammy award-winning members of The Meters, Leo Nocentelli’s ‘The Funkin’ Truth’ and George Porter, Jr. & Runnin’ Pardners, who will each bring their unique groove to the stage. Joining them are special guest appearances by Tarriona ‘Tank’ Ball and Big Chief Juan Pardo, promising an electrifying evening of performances. Kicking off the event is the 14 year old musical prodigy, River Eckert, with his band.

Throughout the evening, organizers will reveal the bulk of the lineup for NOLA Funk Fest 2024, which is set to return to the New Orleans Jazz Museum from October 18-20. Last year’s festival drew music aficionados from across the nation and around the world, creating an electrifying atmosphere in New Orleans. Building on this success, the festival promises an exceptional lineup of artists and immersive cultural experiences, including symposia and a new exhibition on Louisiana Blues.

Moreover, NOLA Funk Fest serves as a public preview of The Louisiana Music & Heritage Experience (LMHE), a forthcoming grand-scale museum dedicated to preserving the rich musical history of the state. For more information about LMHE, visit www.lmhe.live.
