The Ooh Poo Pah Doo Bar’s Treme Fest kicks off this Sunday at 10 a.m. with a second line (beginning and ending at the bar) and continues with a crawfish boil, barbeque, and music into the night.

Brother Tyrone, Wardell Williams, Walter “Wolfman” Washington, Aya Pettaya, James Andrews, and Travis “Trumpet Black” Hill are all slated to perform, the latter two of which are nephews of bar owner Judy Hill.

The family-owned, neighborhood music venue is almost a year and a half old now and is gaining a reputation for serving up great music, great music, and a dependable good time.

Ooh Poo Pah Doo is located at Orleans Avenue and North Prieur Street.
