In the days between Krewe du Vieux and Mardi Gras Day, the Panorama Jazz Band takes on other members and transforms into the Panorama Brass Band, a street band variant that performs at parades, concerts, and elsewhere during the Mardi Gras season. Photographer Kate Gegenheimer was with the band throughout the 17 days of Mardi Gras, and sent these photos of the band and its new dance troupe this year, the Panoramblers.
