Rebirth Brass Band leader Phil Frazier facing severe health issues

A fund has been launched by the New Orleans Musicians’ Clinic in support of Grammy-winning Rebirth Brass Band’s leader and tuba player, Phil Frazier.

Frazier has reportedly suffered a second stroke, though on the website for the fund, it’s explained only that Frazier needs assistance as he “faces severe health difficulties.”

The NOMC writes, “As a longtime NOMC supporter, Phil and his family have experienced the lifesaving care the NOMC can offer and we need your help to continue that today. As a legendary musician, Phil’s health means everything to his beloved craft and career. Your support helps Phil on the road to recovery.”

All donations will go directly to Frazier’s medical care and expenses. Donations are also 100% tax deductible and accepted via check or click here to submit a donation online. Those seeking more information on the Phil Frazier Donor Advised Fund are asked to call (504) 415-3514 or email [email protected].
