POSTPONED: Buku Music + Art Project moved due to coronavirus pandemic

This year’s BUKU Music + Art Project, scheduled to take place March 20 and 21 at Mardi Gras World in New Orleans, has been postponed due to the ongoing public health crisis related to the coronavirus and COVID-19.

According to WWLTV, “The upcoming BUKU music and art festival has been canceled due to the COVID-19 coronavirus. According to festival organizers, they plan to reschedule for Labor Day Weekend and all tickets will be honored.

Information on refunds will be issued  ‘by the end of next week.'”

Headliners for this year’s BUKU included Tyler, the Creator; Run the Jewels, Illenium, Glass Animals, Alison Wonderland, Zeds Dead, Kaytranada, Megan Thee Stallion, Charli XCX, Roddy Rich, Flatbush Zombies and Taking Back Sunday.

BUKU is among a growing number of New Orleans festivals and events to have been canceled or postponed due to the pandemic, including Hogs for the Cause, Super Sunday, New Orleans Food & Wine Experience and more.
