For over 33 years, OffBeat has faithfully published a chronicle and history of New Orleans and Louisiana music, food and culture in  our magazine, OffBeat.com, the Weekly Beat newsletter, the Jazz Fest Bible, and social media. 

OffBeat is supported almost exclusively by advertising from local community music supporters: music clubs, restaurants, bars and festivals. As we all know, all things musical—as well as all of our festivals—are shut down because of the terrible COVID-19 pandemic. OffBeat receives no grants or funding from foundations or other music organizations. While all print media is experiencing tough times, COVID-19 has hit New Orleans and OffBeat especially hard, but we really do want to continue to give you the gift of New Orleans music and culture.
