Now in its sixth year, Fête du Void, the annual two-day camping, music and arts getaway headlined and created by the band The Iceman Special, is returning to Oakdale, Louisiana in September from September 28 through September 30.

The festival features multiple indoor and outdoor stages that host bands and DJs from all over the country, as well as food and art vendors. This year, the musical acts include Lost Bayou Ramblers, ÌFÉ, SaxKixAve, Sexbruise?, Mike Dillon and The New Fuck Yeahs, Solid Gold Skate Party, Legatron Prime, LeTrainiump, Diamond J and The Ruby Red Raindrops, Pretty Na$ty, Hive Mind, Whisper Party!, Crush Diamond, 3420, Void, K.C. Fête du Void was created by two members of The Iceman Special band, guitarist Hunter Romero and bass player Charlie Murray, with mental health and wellness in mind. The two strive to provide an environment where everyone is granted an experience that leaves them with a positive attitude toward life and others.

Romero said “Fête du Void represents the unique values that the music and culture in the South has given people since the early 1950s. It’s not ya mamma’s zydeco, but it definitely will move and shake you in some type of way. This diverse lineup full of different genres represents what inspires The Iceman Special, and this is where our music comes from.”

The festival will take place on the grounds of the historic Hardwood Mill (1194 W. Santa Fe Road in Oakdale), 185 miles northwest of New Orleans. Attendees have the option of on-site camping on the grounds of the event.

Tickets for Fête du Void are available for purchase now on the Fête du Void website, starting at $135.
