Live Oak, FL’s popular Suwannee Hulaween festival will return to Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park over Halloween weekend (October 27-29), and the lineup is as dense as ever.
The jam band and electronic music-centric gathering will once again feature three nights of the String Cheese Incident, as well as sets from Bassnectar, Ween, GRiZ, Run The Jewels, Nick Murphy (Chet Faker), RL Grime, Portugal. The Man, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats and The Disco Biscuits. They are among the 60 artists who will perform across five stages over the course of the three-day event.

A few New Orleans acts will appear at Suwanee Hulaween too, including Tank & The Bangas, Dumpstaphunk and the Dirty Dozen Brass Band. Claude VonStroke, Vince Staples, Greensky Bluegrass, Marian Hill, Kamasi Washington, Lettuce, Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires and Beats Antique are also on the bill.
“Five years ago, we set out to take The String Cheese Incident’s annual Halloween bash, and grow it into a full scale festival,” festival co-producer Michael Harrison Berg said. “Now, we have the honor of producing an event that we’d personally want to be at. We’ve watched the process come and go full circle as we’ve grown together with the most loyal and dedicated fanbase we’ve ever witnessed in our collective career.”
Now in its fifth year, the festival will pairs its music with art installations, live performance, yoga, workshops, a speaker series and a variety of interactive activities. The art installations and interactive activities have been particular highlights in past years, which have showcased psychedelic, Burning Man-esque displays of visual and performance art amidst the festival site’s beautiful surroundings.
In addition to the three-day festival, Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park will host a Thursday night pre-party with Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Greensky Bluegrass, Liquid Stranger, The Devil Makes Three, Lettuce, EOTO & Friends and others on the night of October 26.
