The John Sinclair Radio Show with New Orleans Poet Don Paul

This month, “The John Sinclair Radio Show” will feature, “Love is the Flame“, two hours of poetry, and a conversation with New Orleans poet Don Paul and poet, author, and bandleader John Sinclair, and investigate his new album Meld #1 with a variety of musical ensembles, interspersed with segments of a long conversation between Paul and Sinclair that will continue into a second episode, “Just One Big Heart“. Following the conversation, Paul will read several of Sinclair’s poems alternating with recorded examples of the same.
“They’re beautifully edited, I think,” says Paul. “It’s great to hear John’s voice and rippling creek of a chuckle… We talk about how the tracks came to be and about the ‘tree-mendous’ players on them… We also get to talk about he came to be such a wide and vital embrace ad expression of American culture over the course of 60 plus years.”
