Dr. John dropped by the Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night to join his friend, New Orleans native Jon Batiste, and his band Stay Human. While The Good Doctor sat in with the band for the duration of the program, the internet doesn’t have any footage of him behind the keys at the moment. Nevertheless, he can be found hanging out with Batiste, Colbert and musical guest John Legend during a bit called “John Legend Makes Mundane Things Sound Sexy.” As Legend notes during the segment, he helped induct Dr. John into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame back in 2011.
