Voodoo Fest Reveals Schedule, Announces After Shows

Voodoo Fest has revealed it daily schedules, along with a number of official Deja Voodoo after shows. As previously reported, the 18th edition of the festival will head to New Orleans’ City Park from Friday, October 28 through Saturday, October 30.

While Tool, Arcade Fire and The Weeknd are slated to headline the festival, they won’t be performing unopposed. CARNAGE will take to the electronic music-oriented Le Plur stage while The Weeknd performs on the main stage on Friday night. Tool will go up against Die Antwoord on Saturday, with The Chainsmokers balancing out Arcade Fire on Sunday.

Conflicts like these are hallmark of the festival experience, and the headlining slots aren’t the only time of day when they’ll be an issue(something tells me dance music fan won’t be happy about the STS9, Beats Antique and Gramatik’s overlapping sets).

Much like previous years, music will begin at noon each day before wrapping up at 11pm on Friday and Saturday, and 9pm on Sunday. However, a series of official late night shows will take the party well past midnight and even get things started a day early. House of Blues is set to host Mutemath on Thursday night before welcoming Kevin Gates on Friday night, while Gasa Gasa will put on a show from Snakehips after the festival wraps up on Saturday.

The full schedule for this year’s Voodoo Fest can be found here. Tickets for the festival are currently on sale.
