Lil Wayne will toast to 10 years of Tha Carter III on August 25

4th Annual Lil’ Weezyana Fest salutes 10 years of Lil Wayne’s “Tha Carter III”

It’s been a decade since Lil Wayne released his platinum-selling album, Tha Carter III, a milestone he’ll celebrate with special guests on Saturday, August 25 at his annual Lil’ Weezyana Fest. Though some names have been added to the lineup (including Young Jeezy, Baton Rouge’s NBA YoungBoy and Grammy-nominated Tory Lanez), Weezy is known to bring out all-star surprise guests for the affair. JAY-Z, T-Pain, Busta Rhymes and others are all guests on Tha Carter III

2018 has already been a watershed year for the multi-platinum selling rap superstar. In June, OffBeat.com reported on the Hollygrove native’s legal triumph against Cash Money Records. After a three-year legal battle, it seems  Wayne fans can take comfort in the fact that the much-delayed Tha Carter V is now his to release.

Lil’ Weezyana Fest takes place at Bold Sphere Music at Champions Square. General-admission tickets for the 7 p.m. event range from $65 to $95 and are available here. Premium-box seats are sold out. For more information, click here.
