Tickets for Kidd Jordan, Hamid Drake on Sale Now

On Sunday, November 20, Piety Street Recording will host a recording session/intimate concert with tenor saxophone legend Kidd Jordan and percussionist Hamid Drake. Valid Records‘ Benjamin Lyons has brought together these icons of improvised music, and there will be room for approximate 50 people to attend. Those who want to attend need to pay Lyons $20 cash in person or by PayPal. To arrange to buy tickets, email [email protected]. Tickets will not be reserved until payment is made.

Jordan and Drake last recorded together on 2006’s Palm of Soul, when they were joined by bassist William Parker.
