Bill Maher returns to New Orleans in April; tickets on sale now

Bill Maher, longtime comedian and HBO star, is coming to New Orleans April 6 to perform at the Saenger Theatre. Tickets for this exclusive event go on sale Friday, January 25 at 10 a.m.

Bill Maher has spent the last 20+ years pushing political boundaries on TV by putting funny spins on serious, political topics. Maher began his entertainment history on Comedy Central’s “Politically Incorrect,” airing from 1993-2002. For the last 14 years, Maher has starred on HBO’s “Real Time,” where he discusses his honest yet hilarious takes on political events. “Religulous,” Maher’s 2008 documentary, has gained fame and fortune as the 8th highest grossing documentary ever. Maher’s opinionated and satirist comedic abilities have gained him 38 Emmy nominations and won him his first in 2014 for HBO’s “Vice,” for which Maher served as executive producer. Maher started his career as a stand-up comedian in 1979, and still performs at least 50 dates a year in Las Vegas and in sold-out theaters all across the country.
