J & The Causeways deliver their debut EP

J & The Causeways showcase powerhouse soul on debut EP

Founded at the Maple Leaf on a hot summer night, J & The Causeways is a group spearheaded by singer-songwriter Jordan Anderson.

Together with his pulsating rhythm section, intricate horn and guitar melodies and robust vocals, lead singer/keys player Anderson is today (January 25) releasing the group’s debut EP. The self-titled, four-track project was recorded at Esplanade Studios and is ripe with music that Flow Tribe has called “powerhouse soul dipped in old school rhythm & blues.” The band features Evan Hall on guitar, Gavin Murray on bass, Ezell Smith Jr. on drums, Harry Morter Jr. on trumpet and Kevin McMann on sax.

J & The Causeways have performed at Po-boy Fest, Hogs for the Cause, French Quarter Fest, Acadia Music Fest, Best of the Bayou Fest, SXSW, Rock-n-Roll Marathon (New Orleans) and more.  To keep up with the band, click here.
