ATG Live has unveiled the official lineup and schedule for the 2026 installment of “No Rest After Fest,” the late-night concert series at the historic Saenger Theatre that keeps the music going long after the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival grounds close for the day.
A now-established Jazz Fest tradition, the series brings a mix of national touring acts and hometown icons to one of the city’s most storied stages, offering festivalgoers a second wind each night.
Kicking things off, jam-band favorites Goose will headline a sold-out two-night run on April 21–22. The series continues April 23 with Gillian Welch and David Rawlings performing Grateful Dead Acoustic Reckoning, followed by Charley Crockett and soul legend Lee Fields on April 24.
On April 25, hometown hero Trombone Shorty celebrates his 40th birthday with the 10th anniversary of his “Treme Threauxdown,” featuring a stacked lineup of special guests including Leon Bridges, Eric Church, Jill Scott and Joan Jett.
Later in the run, alt-rock mainstays CAKE take the stage April 28–29, followed by Wilco on April 30 and May 1. The series wraps May 2 with a sold-out reunion performance by New Orleans funk pioneers The Meters.
The 2025 edition marked the most successful “No Rest After Fest” to date, with performances from Arcade Fire, LCD Soundsystem, Waxahatchee and Tom Jones, further cementing the Saenger’s growing national profile.
Most shows begin at 9 p.m., giving festival attendees time to navigate post-Fair Grounds traffic and recharge before diving back into the night.
The series is produced by ATG Live, the concert and events arm of ATG Entertainment. The company stages more than 500 events annually across 18 venues nationwide, selling upwards of one million tickets each year.
With its genre-spanning lineup and potential for once-in-a-lifetime collaborations, “No Rest After Fest” continues to offer one of Jazz Fest season’s most distinctive after-hours experiences.
