Big Freedia gets in the holiday spirit with her new EP, A Very Big Freedia Christmazz. It may not be the family friendly affair that “holiday spirit” often implies, but it’s spirited nonetheless.

The five-track release includes very Freedia takes on classic Christmas tales, with tracks like “Rudy, the Big Booty Reindeer,” “Santa Is a Gay Man” and “So Frosty.”

If you’re like me, then you’re sick of hearing the same old tired songs every December. This EP is sure to spice things up, and may even be a great conversation starter at the next family gathering. After all, Christmas Eve is as good a time as any to give Grandma a primer on the history and cultural impact of sissy bounce.
