Diana Ross To Make Her Debut at New Orleans Jazz Fest

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival has announced its decision to add legendary Diana Ross to the 2019 music lineup. Diana Ross will be celebrating her 75th birthday this year by continuing to perform. This will be her first time ever performing at Jazz Fest and she will take the stage on Saturday, May 4.

Ross has swept through New Orleans performances in the past, never falling short of a sell-out show, and this year will be no different. As the lead singer of The Supremes and a hugely successful solo artist, Diana Ross’s musical career has created unforgettable and unique musical hits. From The Supremes’ “Stop! In the Name of Love,” to Diana’s solo song “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” Diana Ross has paved the way for her musical abilities to be known as one of the best in musical history. With her performances in “Lady Sings the Blues,” “Mahogany,” and “The Wiz,” Diana Ross became an entertainer with variety and style like no other.

Ross has performed at the Saenger Theatre in New Orleans  and is known to play all of her classic songs. With 18 number-one singles, Diana Ross is a must-see performer at this year’s Jazz Festival.

In an additional piece of Jazz Fest lineup news, it has been announced that Bob Seger will no longer be performing, due to scheduling conflicts.
