Downriver Festival celebrates oysters and the future of our coast

The Downriver Festival is back for it’s fourth annual “multi-sensory” celebration of the Mississippi River that will be hosted at the Old U.S. Mint and French Market on Saturday, September 10. This year’s theme is “Oysters & The Future of our Coast.”

With live music, cooking demonstrations, presentations, panels, and walking tours, the festival aims to offer guests the full New Orleans experience. There will be indoor symposiums that are free and open to the public and will be held on the third floor of the Old U.S. Mint.
