Flood the Love Relief Jam to help out local artist affected by Louisiana floods

Flood the Love Relief Jam is coming to Raceland on Sunday, September 18.

Held at Beck’s Bar, the event is a community fundraiser put on by musicians, for musicians — it was conceived to help out a local band that was affected by the recent flooding in Louisiana. The money raised from donations and the auction that will take place will go to the band and their family and friends. The fundraiser begins at noon on Sunday.

The music lineup includes the Josh Garrett Band, Heath Ledet Band, Velvet Sky, Southpaw, and Nonc Nu and da Wild Matous. The open jam session, which begins right after the event, will open with the Renditions.
