Starting Monday, June 8, King James & The Special Men will be moving their regular Monday night debauches to Sidney’s Saloon, located at 1200 St. Bernard Ave.

The shows will go from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. and of course include the traditional red beans and rice that were a staple at their previous residency.

One of New Orleans’ premier classic R&B bands, King James & the Special Men enjoyed a long and fruitful residency at BJ’s on Monday nights, building a loyal following as well as generating recognition outside the crescent city.

“We’ve had a great run at BJ’s over the last five years, but wanted to give y’all some more room to dance,” bandleader Jimmy “King James” Horn said in a statement.

Be sure to catch this great band at their expanded new location.
