Mid-Winter’s Nite Dream to Raise Funds for Baton Rouge Music Program

The Positive Vibrations Foundation will host its Mid-Winter’s Nite Dream benefit show at Gasa Gasa on Friday, January 27. The party will raise money for Hope Zone Baton Rouge’s youth music program.

CMRadio (Clint Maedgen of Preservation Hall Jazz Band), Sea Battle, MC Sweet Tea, DJ Otto and Red Wolf Brass Band will perform at the show, which is slated to kick off at 9pm. Body painting by Get Fly will also be available.

Those that attend the Mid-Winter’s Nite Dream are encouraged to wear wintery costumes, and that those do will get a $10 discount at the door. Additionally, a silent auction and a raffle raise additional funds for Hope Zone Baton Rouge.

Tickets for the show are now on sale for $20.

The Positive Vibrations Foundation is a nonprofit that supports preogressive community arts programs thgoughout the Guld Coast. The organization helped sponsor last week’s Best of the Beat Awards, and HeartBeat Award was renamed in their honor.
