One morning at this year’s Jazz Fest, all anyone I knew wanted to talk about was Wild Wayne’s interview with Mystikal, and how funny and frank it was. The interview was a part of the Jazz and Heritage Foundation’s Sync Up Conference – a music business development conference that piggybacks on the festival. Videos of the sessions are online now including talks by AEG Live’s Larry Vallon, Island Records’ founder Chris Blackwell, Dr. John manager Peter Himberger, former Throwing Muse Kristin Hersh and more.
