An indoor ice-skating rink is one of the attractions at NOLA Christmasfest at the Morial Convention Center.

NOLA ChristmasFest brings ice skating, snow, ice slides and more

NOLA ChristmasFest, the region’s only indoor Christmas festival, will feature ice skating rink, daily “snow” falls, favorite holiday characters, themed inflatables and more. Returning to The New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, doors will open at 4:30 p.m., on Wednesday, December 21 and runs through Friday, December 30.

This year, NOLA ChristmasFest will bring three chilly ice slides, local arts and crafts at the Yuletide Market and rides such as the Big Blast Blizzard, Kringle Carousel, Sizzlin’ Sleigh Ride and Scrooge’s Sled. Holiday-themed treats will also be available at Mrs. Claus’ Sweet Shop such as hot chocolate or signature craft cocktails at the Polar Pub.

“We are delighted to offer this one-of-a-kind holiday experience to New Orleans for the ninth year,” said Michael J. Sawaya, The New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center President “We look forward to bringing holiday cheer and welcoming locals and visitors back to the Convention Center to celebrate.”
